BASIC ARCHIVAL AND GRANTWRITING WORKSHOPS

Archival Training is required for Historical Records grants; this workshop satisfies this requirement.

The Grantwriting Workshop focusses on the Historical Records Collections Grants.

**NOTE: This set of workshops has already taken place; the next set of workshops is expected to be in February/March. The information below will give you an idea of the workshop format.**

Event: Basic Archival Workshop

Time: 9:00 to 4:00
Price: $30

Places and Dates (all 2013):

Friday, May 24th, Maine State Library, Augusta. Albert Whitaker, workshop presenter;
Wednesday, May 29th, Bangor Public Library. Bill Cook, workshop presenter; OR
Wednesday, June 5th, Sanford-Springvale Historical Museum. Peter Parker, workshop presenter.

REGISTRATION DEADLINES (registration by mail only): May 17 for Augusta; May 22 for Bangor; May 29 for Sanford-Springvale.

Price: Free, but you must register
Place: Maine State Library Conference Room, Augusta

Dates:

July 11, 2013 (Thursday)
August 13, 2013 (Tuesday), or
September 5, 2013 (Thursday).

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Five days before the workshop. You may register for the Grant-Writing workshop only by phone or e-mail (287-5791; janet.roberts@maine.gov). Be sure to include ALL the registration information, including snail mail address and phone number.
