Maine National History Day Participation

How do I participate?

• Ask your social studies teacher or guidance counselor (or your parent if you are home schooled) if he or she knows about Maine National History Day.  
• Tell him or her about this website as a source of information.
• Obtain the Contest Rules, Curriculum Book, and registration form by

  • downloading the Contest Rules and the Curriculum Book
  • contacting Nicole Ladner
• Return the registration form postmarked by March 1, 2010 with the $5 per student entry fee.
• Attend the contest on Wednesday, March 24, 2010, in Augusta - you must be present to compete. Additional information for the statewide competition may be obtained by e-mail request to Nicole Ladner.
• Teachers and students are invited to attend the contest to observe, even if you are not competing. If you are interested, please notify our office at 626-8400 or e-mail Nicole Ladner.
