Maine National History Day Participation

How do I participate?

Ask your social studies teacher or guidance counselor (or your parent if you are home schooled) if he or she knows about Maine National History Day.
Tell him or her about this website as a source of information.
Obtain the Contest Rules, Curriculum Book, and registration form by

Return the registration form postmarked by March 3, 2008 with the $5 per student entry fee.
Attend the contest on Wednesday, March 26, 2008, in Augusta - you must be present to compete. Additional information for the statewide competition may be obtained by e-mail request to nicole.ladner@maine.gov.
Teachers and students are invited to attend the contest to observe, even if you are not competing. If you are interested, please notify our office at 626-8400 or e-mail nicole.ladner@maine.gov.
