North Turner Aug. 1st, 1862

Dear Sir

I herewith enclose the Discharge of Harrison Goding who was
discharged by reason of a bad cough that settled on his Lungs he is
now quite feeble and unable to do anything.

I have today heard that J.F. Hutchins a Deserter from the 1st Maine
Cavalry is somewhere in the Town of Turner and I think if I had
authority to arrest him I could do so. He had been to Canada once
and would probably go again did he mistrust that any one was
after him.

Very truly yours

E.B. Lovejoy

P.S. You will please direct my Letters to East Livermore for the
present and they will be forwarded to me wherever I am.

E.B.L.
