Luther Bradford formerly of Turner enlisted in Co. E, 16th Maine

Vols. wounded in hand at first Fredericksburg and again in

Shoulder at Weldon Rail Road. and again in arm at Hathes [Hatcher's] Run

Feb. 6, 1865. by this last wound he lost an arm. he was taken

prisoner at Gettysburg. he was made Corporal and later Sergeant

for meritorious conduct.
