    Companies A, B, C and D of the 12th Maien Regiment became part of the Battalion Twelfth Regiment Infantry. Also the two and three year men of Companies E, F, G, H, I and K of the 12th Maine. The Battalion 12th was mustered out of the service April 18, 1866 at Savannah, Georgia.
