Maine FastFile (Telefile)

Maine's 1040 Telefile system has been discontinued. The number of taxpayers who use telefile has steadily declined over the past several years while the cost of maintaining the system has steadily increased. Therefore, Maine Revenue Services has decided to eliminate the option to file Maine tax returns by telephone. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has also eliminated the option to file federal income tax returns by telephone.

In the future, please consider using our other FastFile options, I-File and E-File.
