Mission Transition 2009

WELCOME! Mission Transition, an event designed to offer students of Maine greater access to information and resources needed to be successful in reaching their post-high school goals, will be offered at 10 locations throughout the state this year. School personnel, parents, students, community service providers and folks who care about youth’s efforts toward successful transitioning are encouraged to attend. Last year, more than 60 High and Middle schools, over 600 students, in excess of 200 school personnel, more then 70 parents and 100 community vendors participated, with more then 50 workshops in transition planning offered. Once again the Maine Bureau of Rehabilitation Services has teamed up with the Maine Jobs Council to assist the Maine Councils on Transition in providing unique Mission Transition conferences to your area.
