What Will PRISM Do For Me?

HR Transactions

  • Store professional information including hire date & job changes
  • Includes HR-related processes such as onboarding, job changes, and termination
  • Information entered during a Core HR process is automatically updated everywhere in the system

Benefits

  • Stores your Benefit information for retirement plans, life insurance, and payment elections
  • Includes Benefits-related processes such as assigning plans and viewing deductions
  • Receives eligibility information from Core HR, sends election information to vendors and deduction amounts to Payroll

Compensation

  • Stores your compensation information including hourly wage & salary and compensation history
  • Includes Compensation related processes such as wage increases and allowance plans
  • Receives job change information from Core HR and sends wage information to Payroll

Recruiting

  • Stores information on candidates such as contact information and previous work experience
  • Includes Recruiting related processes such as creating a job requisition and making a job offer
  • Receives open job information from Core HR and sends new hire information to Core HR

Employee Self-Service

  • Stores personal information including home address, phone number, and emergency contact
  • Stores your time tracking information including hours worked and approved absences
  • Enter time off requests, maintain tax and payment elections, and view the State's organizational chart

Manager Self-Service

  • Easily view team information and leverage related reports
  • Keep track of items needing your attention through My Tasks 
  • Quick access to team time off, timecards, and schedules

Time and Absence

  • Stores your Time off & Leave of Absence information including PTO, absence requests and approvals
  • Includes Absence-related processes such as recording time off and putting someone on a LOA
  • Receives edibility information from Core HR and sends absence information to Payroll

Payroll

  • Stores your payroll information including tax withholdings and payment elections (direct deposit)
  • Includes Payroll-related processes such as running payroll and retro pay
  • Receives wage information from Compensation, Time Tracking and Absence, and deduction amounts from Benefits to produce a paycheck for every employee
