Whether you have decided to permanently relocate to Maine, or are simply staying here during the reconstruction process, we hope to provide as many resources as possible to help you get settled here. For those wanting to help

The willingness and eagerness of Mainers to help in the wake of Hurricane Katrina has been tremendous. People have been willing to donate their money and time, their homes and material possessions, and have opened their arms to evacuees making their way to our state. Find out how you can get involved, find necessary forms for volunteers, offer housing to evacuees, and get more information about the many organizations coordinating relief efforts.
