Using the Maine.gov Toolbar

As you visit Maine state government websites, you'll notice that most state web pages contain a standard blue Maine.gov toolbar across the top. This toolbar tells you that you are on a Maine state government page and provides you with some important tools that you can use from any page you visit. So wherever you go on Maine.gov, you'll be connected to these state links:

• Link back to Maine.gov home page
  Simply click the Maine.gov logo in the header to return to the Maine.gov home page.
• Link to the State Agency Index
  The "State Agencies" link will show you a list of state agencies with links to each agency's website and contact information.
• Link to Online Services Directory
  The "Online Services" link will show you the directory of state online services, such as payment transactions, licensing, interactive tools, searchable data, and more.
• Link to Web Policies
  The "Web Policies" link will direct you to the Maine.gov policies for Privacy, Security, Accessibility, and Linking.
• Link to Help Center
  The "Help" link will direct you to the Maine.gov Help Center.
• Page Tools
  This menu offers you special features relating to the page you are visiting at the time. You can email the page link to a friend, "watch" the page and receive notification when it is updated, or save the page to your links on your customized My Maine.gov home page. You can also map addresses on the page or translate the page to another language.

    Send an email to a friend with a link to the page you're currently viewing on Maine.gov!
  • Watch This Page
    Use this link to track the page you're currently viewing and receive an email notification when it is updated. You'll need to log in or set up Maine.gov Email Notifications to use this feature. Learn more about setting up email notifications.
  • Add to Custom Maine.gov
    Use this link to save a link to the page you're currently viewing to your "My Links" section on your custom Maine.gov page. You'll need to log in or set up a custom Maine.gov page to use this feature. Learn more about creating a custom Maine.gov page.
  • Map Page Addresses
    This tool will check the page for any street addresses and provide a link to an interactive map for any mappable addresses.
  • Translation
    Select "en Español" to view the page in Spanish, or "en Français" to view the page in French. The "English" link will bring you back to the official English version from the translated page.
• State Search
  You always have the option to search all state government web pages using our powerful search engine.
