Special Permit Nuclear Medicine Trainee
A "Special Permit Nuclear Medicine Trainee" is defined as a licensed radiographer who has otherwise complied with all of the requirements to become a Nuclear Medicine Technologist and is preparing to take the examination in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
How to apply
Please make your checks payable to: "Maine State Treasurer".
- Application Fee of $50
- License Fee of $100
- Criminal History Records Check Fee of $21
- The permit shall be granted once per applicant, for a period not to exceed one year. The applicant will be required to take the next scheduled exam. The license will stay in effect until the results of the exam are known. Pending successful completion of the State examination, the trainee must be under the direct supervision of a licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

- Completed and signed application for licensure with all fees and required documentation.
