"Exempt Charitable Organization" refers to a Charitable Organization meeting the criteria specified in 9 MRSA, Chapter 385, §5006.

An entity that qualifies as an "Exempt Charitable Organization"
in one year may be required to become licensed as a Charitable Organization
in the following year, at renewal, if its circumstances change
in a way that causes it to no longer meet one of the eligibility
criteria to be an Exempt Charitable Organization.
