About the Office of Licensing & Registration

The Office of Licensing and Registration is an umbrella agency housing professional licensing boards, commissions and licensing programs administered by staff. We are dedicated to public protection through licensure, inspection, enforcement/complaint resolution, and discipline.

What we do

• License over 100,000 professionals.
• Investigate complaints and perform inspections.
• Boards and commissions carry out the duties mandated by the Legislature by setting minimum licensure standards and imposing discipline.
