The Superintendent of Insurance is authorized by 24-A M.R.S.A. § 210 to delegate to his deputy the exercise or discharge of such powers or functions of the Superintendent as he deems appropriate. Eric Cioppa, Deputy Superintendent of Insurance is hereby given the power to act in the name of the Superintendent in conducting oral argument, ruling on motions and requests, conducting any days of hearing, and such other duties and functions which would be required of the Superintendent in his role as hearing officer and decisionmaker in the pending matter. Any official act taken by Deputy Superintendent Cioppa shall be deemed an official act of the Superintendent. No further order of the Superintendent is required for Deputy Superintendent Cioppa to act in the name of the Superintendent in this transaction. PER ORDER OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF INSURANCE
