This proceeding arose upon a request for hearing made by Michelle Burke (the “Insured”) to contest the pending cancellation of automobile insurance coverage provided by Bristol West Insurance Company (the “Company”). On August 4, 2004, the Company mailed a notice of cancellation effective August 21, 2004, on policy number G00 0378779, citing “Non-Payment of Premium” as the grounds for cancellation, and stating that the check or credit payment sent as payment was dishonored or rejected by the payer bank or other financial institution.

A hearing in this matter was held pursuant to 24-A M.R.S.A. § 2920 on September 14, 2004, with Connie Mayette sitting as designated hearing officer. Subsequent to the hearing, the Insured provided evidence of replacement coverage taking effect September 1, 2004. This petition is hereby dismissed as moot, and our file is closed without further action. The order for the Company to continue coverage is terminated as of the date of the replacement policy.
