NOTICE TO INTERESTED PARTIES

This is to inform you that the Bureau of Financial Institutions has received an application, pursuant to 9-B, MRSA Chapter 121, for a certificate of public convenience and advantage to establish a nondepository trust company to be known as Plimoth Trust Company LLC and to be located at 38 Resnik Road, Plymouth, Massachusetts. The nondepository trust company will have a registered agent in Maine.
The application has been filed by Citizens-Union Savings Bank, Fall River, Massachusetts (“CUSB”) and Dedham Institution for Savings, Dedham, Massachusetts (“DIS”), unaffiliated, independent Massachusetts-chartered mutual savings bank organizations. The names, addresses and occupations of the proposed initial directors are listed below.

The public is invited to submit written comments on this application to the Bureau of Financial Institutions, 36 State House Station, Augusta, Maine 04333-0036 or electronically through the Bureau of Financial Institutions’ Web site at http://www.maine.gov/financialinstitutions. A hearing on this application will be held by the Superintendent, as provided in 9-B MRSA Section 252, upon receipt of a bona fide and reasonable request. The Bureau will accept written comments and requests for a hearing through Monday, August 1, 2011. The Superintendent's decision on this application will be based on the decision-making criteria set forth in 9-B MRSA Section 253.
