NOTICE TO INTERESTED PARTIES

            Northeast Bank, Lewiston, Maine, notified the Superintendent of the Bureau of Financial Institutions, pursuant to 9-B M.R.S.A. §336, of its intent to close its (1) Lewiston branch office located at 882 Lisbon Street, Lewiston, Maine and (2) Mechanic Falls branch office located at 26 Pleasant Street, Mechanic Falls, Maine.     

            You may request that the Bureau of Financial Institutions require Northeast Bank to submit a comprehensive application in support of their proposal through Thursday, November 12, 2009, pursuant to the provisions of 9-B M.R.S.A. §336.  Written comments should be submitted to the Bureau of Financial Institutions, 36 State House Station, Augusta, Maine 04333-0036 and electronic comments may be filed through the Bureau of Financial Institutions' Web site at http://www.maine.gov/pfr/financialinstitutions/index.shtml.
