SUPERINTENDENT’S NOTICE

TO INTERESTED PARTIES

Border Trust Company, South China, Maine, notified the Superintendent of the Bureau of Financial Institutions, pursuant to 9-B M.R.S.A. §336, of its intent to close its branch office located on Route 202, Albion, Maine.

You may request that the Bureau of Financial Institutions require Border Trust Company to submit a comprehensive application in support of their proposal through Monday, July 7, 2003, pursuant to the provisions of 9-B M.R.S.A. §336.  Written comments should be submitted to the Bureau of Financial Institutions, 36 State House Station, Augusta, Maine 04333-0036 and electronic comments may be filed through the Bureau of Financial Institutions’ Web site at www.maine.gov/financialinstitutions .
