SUPERINTENDENT’S NOTICE

TO INTERESTED PARTIES

             Skowhegan Savings Bank, Skowhegan, Maine, notified the Superintendent of the Bureau of Financial Institutions, pursuant to 9-B M.R.S.A. §336, of its intent to close its Belgrade branch office located at 940 Augusta Road, Belgrade, Maine.  Skowhegan Savings Bank intends to replace the closed branch by opening a new branch located in Augusta, Maine.

            You may request that the Bureau of Financial Institutions require Skowhegan Savings Bank to submit a comprehensive application in support of its proposal through Wednesday, April 24, 2013, pursuant to the provisions of 9-B M.R.S.A. §336.  Written comments should be submitted to the Bureau of Financial Institutions, 36 State House Station, Augusta, Maine 04333-0036 and electronic comments may be filed through the Bureau of Financial Institutions' Web site at http://www.maine.gov/pfr/financialinstitutions/index.shtml.
