STATE OF MAINE DEPARTMENT OF PROFESSIONAL AND FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS BUREAU OF FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS SUPERINTENDENT’S NOTICE TO INTERESTED PARTIES Maine State Credit Union, Augusta, Maine, has requested permission to amend its bylaws to expand its field of membership, in accordance with Title 9-B M.R.S.A. § 848. Maine State Credit Union a community-chartered credit union whose field of membership consists primarily of (1) persons who live, work, worship, or attend school in and businesses located in Kennebec County and (2) Maine State employees; Maine State Credit Union also has various other select employee groups in its field of membership. To facilitate the merger with Greater Waterville Area Federal Credit Union, the proposed bylaw change expands the field of membership of Maine State Credit Union to add persons who live, work, worship or attend school in and businesses located in Somerset County, which was included in the field of membership of Greater Waterville Area Federal Credit Union: The Bureau approved the merger between Maine State Credit Union and Greater Waterville Area Federal Credit Union pursuant to the authority granted in Title 9-B M.R.S.A. § 872. The Bureau is also approving Maine State Credit Union’s bylaw change to expand its field of membership by adding the requested well-defined community in order to facilitate the merger. Any person aggrieved by this final agency action shall be entitled to judicial review, pursuant to the provisions the Maine Administrative Procedures Act, Title V, Chapter 375, Subchapter VII (5 M.R.S.A. § 11001, et seq.). /s/ Lloyd P.
