SUPERINTENDENT’S NOTICE

TO INTERESTED PARTIES

               Kennebec Savings Bank, Augusta, Maine, notified the Superintendent of the Bureau of Financial Institutions, pursuant to 9-B M.R.S.A. §336, of its intent to close its Gardiner branch office located at 35 Bridge Street, Gardiner, Maine.  Kennebec Savings Bank intends to replace the closed branch by opening a new branch located at 1 Northern Avenue, Farmingdale, Maine.

            You may request that the Bureau of Financial Institutions require Kennebec Savings Bank to submit a comprehensive application in support of its proposal through Thursday, March 29, 2012, pursuant to the provisions of 9-B M.R.S.A. §336.  Written comments should be submitted to the Bureau of Financial Institutions, 36 State House Station, Augusta, Maine 04333-0036 and electronic comments may be filed through the Bureau of Financial Institutions' Web site at http://www.maine.gov/pfr/financialinstitutions/index.shtml.
