The Bureau of Consumer Credit Protection serves the citizens of Maine by administering laws relating to non-bank mortgage lending, consumer credit and collection.

Rosters of all companies and individuals licensed by or registered with this office can be found through the links to the right.

Consumers should access our "Consumer Info/Complaints" page for advice on filing a complaint (the complaint form can either be printed off and mailed to us, or it can be emailed) and a list of "Publications" offered by the Department.
