Shiva Dial-Up Users On May 15th, the 141 address pool for the Shiva system was converted to a 10.0.0.0 address. A registry change will be required on client machines using Shiva Dial-out.

Key Plaza Downtown Augusta Radio Link The Office of Information Technology is on the verge of upgrading wide area network speed to Key Plaza. The radio mast and antenna have been installed and the data link should be installed this week. Key Towers data service will be upgraded from 1.5 meg

November 29, 2004:
Central Maine Commerce Center WAN Upgrade State agencies began to move into CMCC (the old Digital or SCI building) in June 2004. The Department of Public Safety was an early building tenant. Later in the winter OIT and Maine Emergency Management Agency will move in.

November 23, 2004:
Hallowell Annex WAN Speed Upgrade The Hallowell campus had been connected to the WAN via two T-1 circuits (1.5 megabit per second link). This link served the Dept. of Labor, Marine Resources, Dept. of Audit and others. OIT has been planning to upgrade network service to Hallowell

BIS Rates BIS completed its rate setting process for fiscal year 2005 and the rates were reviewed and approved by the Information Services Policy Board on September 16th.
