Clearly through the allocation of resources and the ongoing efforts related to the access to information through technology, Maine has shown its commitment to all citizens. But, how do we measure our success? Do we need ongoing oversight by Committees and staff dedicated to accessibility? Do we require the ongoing development of new polices and procedures to continually ensure we are in compliance?
No. We measure our success in this area by not having to allocate resources to accessibility. Our overarching objective is that through education and example, we will build our culture such that accessibility is no longer a mandate, but simply part of how Maine does business.
