Addendum #14DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE & FINANCIAL SERVICES No.: OSER-38 Addendum #14 Date: January 24, 2000 Subject: Child Care Reimbursement Payments To: All Holders of ER Manuals From: Kenneth A. Walo, Director of Employee Relations The purpose of this Addendum is to address the changes in child care reimbursement pursuant to the 1999-2001 MSEA and AFSCME contracts. This also applies to eligible confidential, project and acting capacity employees. This does not apply to members of the State Police Unit covered by the agreement with the MSTA. The changes are as follows: Employees employed full-time during the entire previous calendar year who are otherwise eligible and who have an adjusted gross family income of less than $26,000 for the previous calendar year shall be eligible for reimbursement not to exceed $1000. Employees employed full-time during the entire previous calendar year who are otherwise eligible and who have an adjusted gross family income of more than $26,000 but less than $31,000 shall be eligible for reimbursement not to exceed $700. Employees employed full-time during the entire previous calendar year who are otherwise eligible and who have an adjusted gross family income of more than $31,000 but less than $36,000 shall be eligible for reimbursement not to exceed $500. Prorated benefits are also available for full-time employees who worked less than 12 months but more than six months during the previous calendar year, and for part-time and seasonal employees.
