Transitions for September

Tom Bourque is leaving state service effective August 18 to pursue personal goals.

John Hastings will be retiring from state service effective September 30.

Editor’s Note: I’ll personally miss Rowland Johnson Hastings III (a.k.a. John Hastings) when he retires from a Bureau of Information Services’ Senior Systems Support Specialist position. John’s cheerful demeanor and can do attitude have been long appreciated by his colleagues and customers as he maintained the mail hub and the cc:Mail system. During his 37 years of State service, John demonstrated many talents and skills. He even took a turn as editor of this publication in the early 1990’s!

Best wishes for a long and happy retirement with your family, John. We will all miss you.
