Central Maine Technical College Offers A New Telecommunications Technology Program.
The program prepares students for a career involving some of the more technical aspects of the global communications infrastructure, networking, intranet working, the Internet, and computers. Graduates will be able to work with the hardware infrastructure of networking, solving problems that require an understanding of electrical and electronic principles. Some jobs in this field are Computer Technician, Network Technician, Internet Service Provider Technician, Communications Network Specialists, LAN/WAN Managers, Cable/Cellular/Wireless Communications Technicians.
