OK, sports fans, this quiz is for YOU! That is, if you also know a little about music, too! There are at least five baseball terms that are also used in music. Each is a single word, but one is spelled differently, depending on which activity you are talking about. To qualify for the pizza, you need to send me at least four of the five terms.
For a little extra challenge, but no prize, try this old chestnut: "Their are three errers in this item.. Study it carefully and see if you can find all three of them."
Please e-mail Lester Dickey with your answer and your name, phone number, and the organization for which you work. Or call Barbara Buck at 624-9501. The winner will be drawn from all the correct entries and will receive a FREE pizza, either from CJs Pizza or from the EDOC Cafeteria. All answers must be in no later than the 14th of the month.
Last month's challenge brought 78 answers, with 75 of them correct. The winner, chosen by random drawing, is Howard Beach of the Bureau of Motor Vehicles.
The answer to the August Challenge is: Option 2. You would have received $10,737,418.23, in total. Some of you put $5,368,709.12. This is the amount you would earn on the 30th day.
