Central Maine Power Company Custom Solutions
Central Maine Power Company's Custom Solutions program helps Maine businesses put their expansion plans into action. The program provides up-front cash contributions to help companies fund an expansion or improvement project involving electricity-based solutions. Both upgrades and new installations can qualify.

Coastal Enterprises, Inc.
CEI helps Maine people and communities, particularly those with low incomes, reach an adequate and equitable standard of living, learning, and working in harmony with the natural environment. CEI provides financial and technical assistance for development and expansion of industries, small businesses, housing and social services.

Eastern Maine Development Corporation
Technical assistance for companies looking to establish or invest in a business in eastern Maine.

Farm Credit of Maine
Farm Credit of Maine specializes in lending to Maine's agricultural, fishing and forest products industries.

Finance Authority of Maine
FAME has financial assistance programs for businesses and education.

Kennebec Valley Council of Governments
KVCOG offers supplemental financing for businesses that will create or retain jobs.

Loring Development Authority/Loring Commerce Centre
Loring offers a number of financial resources, including grants, to companies at the Centre.

Maine Office of Community Development
The MOCD distributes money from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Maine Technology Institute
MTI makes grants for researching and developing technology in seven focus areas including aquaculture and biotechnology.

Northern Maine Development Commission
NMDC's Business Finance Department provides a variety of financing options for new and existing businesses.

Small Enterprise Growth Fund
The Small Enterprise Growth Fund was created by an act of the Maine Legislature in 1995 to provide Maine companies and entrepreneurs access to "patient" sources of venture capital. It is an $8 million revolving, "evergreen" fund, seeded through a combination of state bond proceeds and direct appropriation by the Maine Legislature. Its objective is to encourage economic growth in Maine by supporting creative and viable companies that can demonstrate a potential for high growth and public benefit.

U.S. Department of Agriculture - Rural Development in Maine
The USDA's Rural Development in Maine program provides financing for many different programs that benefit the citizens of rural Maine. Offices are located in Bangor, Lewiston, and Presque Isle.
