Speaking to the Technology Transfer Society, Patrick Von Bargen, executive director of the National Commission on Entrepreneurship, and Jim Turner, chief Democratic counsel to the House Science Committee, discussed the current legislative climate for entrepreneurship. Focusing on how entrepreneurial companies start and grow Von Bargen dispelled five major myths about entrepreneurship related to risk, intellectual property, planning, expertise and formal capital.
