FAQ Maine Libraries Campaign

The Maine Regional Library System's statewide public awareness campaign "Maine Libraries - Something for Everyone" was established in 2002. The overall goal of the campaign is to encourage non-library users to discover and use their local libraries, to create a higher level of awareness of libraries in Maine, particularly among those people who rarely or never visit their library.  The campaign is funded in part under a New Century grant.

  • Sponsored celebrations at the State Capitol to promote library services and honor Maine librarians and award winners
  • Encouraged library publicity via a subscription to the statewide media agency Maine News Direct
