Books By Mail Patrons: Reader Advisory Service

Looking for a good book?

Give the Maine State Library Reader Advisory Service a try! The Reader Advisory service is offered by the Maine State Library Outreach Department to help Books By Mail patrons find books that match their reading preferences and interests.

How do we know your reading preferences and interests?

From the information you provide in the online form below. Fill out as much or as little of the form as you wish to create your reading profile. Leave areas blank if you have no preference. A librarian from the Outreach Department will then use your profile to create a custom reading list of books just for you.

Remember: the more information you provide, the more likely a librarian will be able to suggest books that you will like.

We will get back to you in about two weeks with your list. All information will be kept in strict confidence between the patron and library staff. If you have any questions, or want to follow-up with us, please feel free to contact us through our online form.

Contact information (*) is required but everything else is optional.
