Ask a Librarian: Subject Information Form

Requests are read and responses sent as soon as possible during regular business hours. In-state requests receive priority and will be answered within two business days; other requests will be answered, but may take longer.

If you need a more immediate answer, please call 207-287-5608.

Because of limited staff time, we are not able to undertake extensive research, and we encourage you to use your local public or school library first.

If your question concerns genealogy, you may find what you’re seeking on the Maine State Library’s Genealogy page, including a list of professional researchers.

Please use the form below to request information not available to you elsewhere.
