  1. Buy only tables that hold up to 4 at a time.  Bigger groups lead to a noise issue--too much talking.  Nix that desire to buy a sofa; comfy chairs for one prevent a lot of PDA's (public displays of affection) in the high school setting.
  2. Consider spreading the magazine shelving around, in one location it limits who will use it.
  3. Have some carrels for when you need to proctor a test, or even for putting reserve material in.
  4. Get rocking chairs! The lads, young and old, will never sit without putting their chairs in the tilt back position, so you might as well save money on break downs, and get what will work and last.
  5. Many new book display areas! We must create eye catching p.r. in every way possible.  (layout)
