Continuing Education Stipends
The three Districts offer stipends to help defray the costs of attending continuing education events. Anyone working in a library is encouraged to apply, however, in the event of overwhelming demand, preference will be given to librarians from libraries with an operating budget less than $25,000 and/or first time attendees.
The three districts and the CMLD Association have pooled resources to offer 30 $50 stipends ? 10 in each district. A committee made up of the district consultants and the chairs of the district executive boards will review the applications.
