Guideline
You should have some sort of evaluation step for each Goal/Objective.
Samples
Sample 1
- Goal: Apply for grants for new computers
- Evaluation step: The library director will monitor grants offered statewide as well as submit one grant application each year to a Maine-based Foundation. The director will report to the board of trustees re the success of obtaining grants for computers
Sample 2
- Goal: Podcasting children’s events an Author talks
- Evaluation step: The library director will set up a timetable for accomplishing this task. Spring 2007 – purchase microphones and install software. Summer 2008 – record one event. Fall 2008 – obtain feedback from staff and patrons on podcast usefulness and ease of producing
