Dear Mr. Keschl:
Enclosed for filing is a revised version of the Carrier-to-Carrier Guidelines that Verizon Maine previously filed with the Commission on October 18, 2000. While Commission review of the Guidelines is still pending, Verizon Maine is filing this revision to reflect recent changes in the performance standards arising from the carrier working group in New York, conducted under the auspices of the New York Public Service Commission. The most recent guidelines were filed with the New York PSC on January 16, 2001.
The changes from the previously filed version of the guidelines stemming from the New York working group are identified in Attachment 1 to this letter. Attachment 2 contains a list of additional changes, mostly clarifications, that will be reviewed with the carrier working group in the near future. In addition, a number of non-substantive, grammatical and format changes have been made throughout the document. Attachment 3 is a sample copy of the proprietary version of the performance reports. CLEC aggregate performance reports will be issued monthly. CLEC-specific reports are provided monthly to the CLEC upon request.
