This notification is in regard to RFP #201210412, issued by the State of Maine Department of Education for the Multi-State Learning Technology Initiative. The bidders listed above received the Sourcing Team’s highest rankings. The Department will be contacting the aforementioned bidders soon to negotiate contracts for these services. The Department reserves the right to revoke any conditional award as specified in Department of Administrative and Financial Services Rule Chapter 110.
This award decision is subject to the final approval of the State of Maine Procurement Review Committee and the successful negotiation of acceptable contracts. Any person aggrieved by the award decision may appeal the decision in the manner prescribed in the RFP and defined in 5 M.R.S.A. § 1825-E, and in the State of Maine Department of Administrative and Financial Services Rule Chapter 120.

The State of Maine Department of Education in coordination with the National Association of State Procurement Officials hereby releases Public Notice for RFP #201210412: Multi-State Learning Technology Initiative
MULTI-STATE LEARNING TECHNOLOGY INITIATIVE
The State of Maine Department of Education’s Maine Learning Technology Initiative (MLTI) is leading a multi-state effort to undertake the procurement process described below. The multi-state effort is being carried out in coordination with all the participating National Association of State Procurement Officials (NASPO) members, on an as-requested basis, at various locations throughout the geographic regions of all participating NASPO members. This multi-state group, led by the State of Maine, has a requirement for equipment and services to empower a wireless student-centered, digital learning environment. In accordance with State procurement practices, the State of Maine Department of Education is hereby announcing the publication of a Request for Proposals (RFP) #201210412 for the purchase of the aforementioned goods and services.
A copy of the RFP can be obtained by download below or by contacting the State of Maine Department of Education’s RFP Coordinator for this project: Jeff Mao, Learning Technology Policy Director. The RFP Coordinator can be reached at the following email address: firstname.lastname@example.org or mailing address: State of Maine Department of Education, 23 State House Station, Augusta, ME 04333. The Department encourages all interested vendors to obtain a copy of the RFP and submit a competitive proposal.
A Bidders’ Conference is anticipated for this procurement process. The Bidders’ Conference is scheduled for November 29, 2012 at 10:00am, and to be held in Daggett Lounge of Thorne Hall, on the campus of Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. Interested Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend.
Proposals must be submitted to the State of Maine Division of Purchases, located at the Burton M. Cross Office Building, 111 Sewall Street, 4th Floor, 9 State House Station, Augusta, Maine, 04333-0009. Proposals must be submitted by 2:00pm, local time, on January 11, 2013, when they will be opened at the Division of Purchases’ aforementioned address. Proposals not received at the Division of Purchases’ aforementioned address by the aforementioned deadline will not be considered for contract award.
