Professional Development

The cornerstone of MLTI remains Professional Development. Apple will provide, in conjunction with MLTI/Maine Department of Education, professional development for all teachers, principals, and tech coordinators for the 2006-2007 school year. 

Principals will take part in a two-day leadership workshop, focused on the tools for integration, transformation and the evaluation of the use of technology in their own  buildings.

During years two and three, Apple and MLTI will host ongoing regional teacher training opportunities throughout the State. Apple will also hold one-day technical workshops each year for the first 3 years for both school technicians as well as selected student iTeams.
