Examples for Searching by Party Name or Filing Year

Us the following as guidelines or simply paste into search form and edit as needed.

Party Name--To Find Decisions In Which:

  • MSEA is a party, enter: #doctitle *MSEA*
  • Auburn is a party, enter: #doctitle *Auburn*
  • Party is a two digit MSAD (or SAU or CSD), enter: #doctitle "*MSAD 43*"
  • Party has two or more words, enter: #doctitle "*Portland Water District*"
  • Party is a single digit MSAD (or SAU or CSD), enter: #doctitle "*MSAD 1 *" and "*MSAD 1,*"
  • Waterville or the Teamsters is a party, enter: #doctitle *Waterville* or *Teamsters*
  • Waterville AND the Teamsters is a party, enter: #doctitle *Waterville* and *Teamsters*
  • Waterville or Lewiston is a party and case mentions unilateral change, enter: (#doctitle *Waterville* or *Lewiston*) and "unilateral change"

Year of Filing-To Find Decisions In Which:

  • Complaint/petition filed in 1983, enter: #filename 83*
  • Complaint/petition filed in the 1980's, enter: #filename 8*
  • Complaint/petition filed in '91 or '92, enter: #filename 91* or 92*
  • Complaint/petition filed in 1980's and Waterville and Teamsters were parties, enter: (#filename 8*) and #doctitle *Waterville* and *Teamsters*
  • Complaint/petition filed in 1990's and case mentions unilateral change, enter: (#filename 9*) and "unilateral change"

*(Note: search is based on case number which is based on the fiscal year in which it was filed)
