The problems we have been experiencing lately with slow searches will not occur if you use the following URL for the search page, rather than the url that uses the www.maine.gov/ domain. Click on the link below, then update any bookmark or "favorite place" you may have created.

As backup resource, this page describes an alternative way of searching MLRB decisions that can be used if the Maine.gov server appears to be in distress.

If you have attempted a search of the MLRB decisions and have encountered an error message indicating the connection has timed out, try using the advanced features of Google described here.

Go to www.google.com and click on the "advanced search" link on the right side of the page. (google advanced search)

The top portion of the page labeled "Find Results" contains the options for structuring your search. Further down the left column you'll see the word "Domain". This line allows you to limit your search to a particular website.

In the box at the end of the Domain line, enter:

janus.state.me.us/mlrb/decisions/ppc (for prohibited practice cases) or

janus.state.me.us/mlrb/decisions/rep (for unit/representation cases) or

janus.state.me.us/mlrb/decisions/ (for all cases)

Hitting the "cached" link on the bottom line of each result will take you to a version that has your search term highlighted. You'll have to scroll through the document to find each hit.

You can also search by party name by limiting your search to the title of the pages. Do this with the drop-down menu on the Occurrences line.
