MLRB Rules and Procedures

The MLRB Rules and Procedures deal with the Board's various roles in the collective bargaining process in public sector employment. The MLRB Rules are contained in four chapters:

Chapter 10: General Rules

Chapter 11: Bargaining Unit Composition and Representation Matters

Chapter 12: Prohibited Practice Complaints; Interpretive Rulings

Chapter 13: Resolution of Contract Negotiations Disputes

There is also a detailed Table of Contents which provides a helpful overview of the rules.

Please note that Chapter 10 contains rules and definitions, such as computation of time periods, that apply throughout the MLRB Rules.
