Survey GuidelinesCARMA TrainingImportant Note Regarding Architectural SurveysAs of 1 November 2010 all persons submitting MDOT or Project Review Surveys will be required to utilize the Cultural Architectural Resource Management Archive (CARMA). This is an on-line direct data entry system for recording buildings, sites, objects, and structures. In addition, all survey reports must be completed on the new MHPC Survey Report Form. Revised Survey Manuals, the CARMA User Guide, Project Review Survey Procedures and Survey File Research Procedures are posted below. It is important that each person submitting a MDOT or Project Review Survey review ALL of these documents prior to starting any survey after 1 November 2010. Surveyors are strongly encouraged to attend a CARMA training session. CARMA Training Sessions
