Communications Systems and Programs

Emergency managers and first responders use a variety of communications systems to coordinate their actions before and during emergencies.

MEMA's Communications section is the link between County Emergency Management Agencies and FEMA. We facilitate coordination across the State to ensure that County Directors have the communication resources they need.

MEMA maintains many different systems to help get out information to the public, state entities and county officials.
