Layer up for warmth

When you are dressing for the outdoors in cold weather, lay on the layers. Air gets trapped in between layers of clothes and helps keep you warm. If you are exercising outside (whether it's cross-country skiing or splitting wood), you can take off a layer, and then put it back on when you start to cool down. Layers also work indoors -- think how great that extra blanket feels on a chilly night.
