TRAINING ANNOUNCEMENT: ICS 300

Coast Guard Sector Northern New England (NNE) will be hosting an ICS-300 Intermediate ICS course April 4-7, 2017 at the Coast Guard Sector Northern New England's 2 Monument Square campus, 2nd floor, in the Great Bailey Island conference room.
Intermediate ICS expands on basic ICS principals and is designed for personnel who will be assigned to key incident command post roles in expanding incidents or Type 3 incidents and for those assigned to ICS supervisory positions. This course will include but not be limited to: unified command, incident/event assessment, the ICS planning process, incident/event resource management, transfer of command and demobilization.
This USCG course is process based and will require the students to work from initial response through two full planning cycles. Develop two Incident Action Plans for a simulated incident and participate in the various ICS process meetings. Class will convene Tuesday, 04 April, promptly at 0800 at the Coast Guard Sector Northern New England's 2 Monument Square campus, 2nd floor, in the Great Bailey Island conference room. Unfortunately, there is no free parking available at this location. Several city parking garages are located nearby.
Graduation will be approx. 1600, 07 April.
