ICS/EOC Interface Course (G191)

The Maine Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) will be conducting the FEMA training program Incident Command System (ICS), Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Interface Course. This 1 day course will address the ICS and EOC relationship, capabilities and limits of both systems, key players, communications systems, resources, planning programs and logistical assistance. This course is part of the Maine Basic Emergency Manager Recognition program.

The course will help students bridge the gap between an on-scene Incident Commander and the EOC. Training will focus on the teamwork and mutual respect necessary to conduct concurrent operations.

Target Audience: State, County, and Military EOC staff exclusively.

Prerequisite: All students will have completed up to NIMS ICS 200 (Basic) prior to taking the course.

Course Location: The course will be held in the MEMA classroom at the Central Maine Commerce Center (CMCC). CMCC is located at 45 Commerce Drive off Route 27 in North Augusta. Class will run from 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Lunch and breaks will be provided; lodging for those traveling more than 50 miles from their work base is eligible for reimbursement. All other expenses are the responsibility of the student.
