TRAINING ANNOUNCEMENT: Incident Command System: Intermediate (ICS300)

The Augusta Fire Department will be conducting an incident command system course for command and policy level first response personnel. This 2-day course is designed for a multidiscipline audience of persons who would likely serve as supervisors in an ICS structure. Topics include organization and staffing, incident and event planning/staffing, organizing a response to an incident or planned event, and incident resource management. The course includes group activities, a tabletop exercise, and a final exam. This program is intended for middle management, command staff personnel.
TARGET AUDIENCE: All command level emergency responders and personnel responsible for developing Incident Action Plans for expanding incidents. Students have to complete NIMS 700, 100 and 200 in order to take this program. Copy of certificate must accompany application. If you have completed programs on line, please forward copies of the certificates so we can keep them on file.
Deputy Chief Paul Conley of Freeport Fire will serve as primary instructor.
COURSE LOCATION: The course will be held at the Augusta City Hall Auditorium. The facility is located on Cony Street. Classes will run from 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
