Incident Command System: Intermediate (ICS300)
May 4 & 5, 2016

The Maine Emergency Management Agency will be conducting an incident command system course for command and policy level first response personnel. This 2-day course is designed for a multidiscipline organization and staffing, incident and event planning/staffing, organizing a response to an incident or audience of persons who would likely serve as supervisors in an ICS structure. Topics include planned event, and incident resource management. The course includes group activities, a tabletop exercise, and a final exam. This program is intended for middle management, command staff personnel.

Target Audience: All command level EOC/IMAT staff, emergency responders and personnel responsible for developing Incident Action Plans for expanding incidents. All students will have completed IS700/100/200 prior to taking the course. Copy of certificates must accompany application.

Instructors from MEMA and the Maine Forest Rangers will conduct the course.

Course Location: The course will be held in the MEMA classroom at CMCC. The Central Maine Commerce Center is located at 45 Commerce Drive off Route 27 in North Augusta. Classes will run from 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily. Lunch and breaks will be provided. Lodging for those traveling more than 50 miles from their work base is eligible for reimbursement. All other expenses are the responsibility of the student.
