Training Announcement: L-550 Continuity Planners Train-the-Trainer Workshop

FEMA Region I National Preparedness Division & USCG Sector Northern New England will sponsor the FEMA course L-550 Continuity Planners Train-the-Trainer Workshop Tuesday and Wednesday, August 5th and 6th, 2014 in Scarborough.
The Continuity of Operations (COOP) Planning Course (L-550) assists senior officials and continuity planners in their COOP plan development.
This course is based on the guidance to Federal Executive Branch departments and agencies for developing Continuity of Operations plans and programs. COOP plans facilitate the performance of essential functions during any situation which may disrupt normal operations. This course is designed to provide the skills and knowledge to improve the overall quality and workability of your department/agency COOP plan.
Students are encouraged to bring their organizations' continuity plans to training, if security classification allows.

There is no charge for this course. However, all participants must cover their own travel expenses.
